How do I repair a broken headphone jack
i left my iPod out in the rain an the headphone jack stopped working but everything else works just fine.

This issue is a worn out headphone jack. This part is clipped in with a socket, so it's easily replaced. You can find the logicboard guide here and the part here. You will need to replace this whole piece. You can't just replace the headphone jack. iFixit doesn't have a guide specific to this part.
