My phone doesn't show me a specific wifi network

Hey guys, My phone can't seems to find a specific wi-fi, I pressed scan and it doesn't come up for some reason, it used to. I've tried everything, turn the phone of, take the battery out, blow of dust, play around with the settings, but it doesn't appeared in the wifi list.

The phone is finding my neighbors & office wi-fi and can connect to the them perfectly, so I'm really confused.

The specific wifi network which I want to connect in my phone, is working perfectly with other devices, also my friend's phone can connect to it.

So the bottom line is, only my phone is not able to see this specific wifi network in the list. other device can find it and can connect to it.

Does anyone know whats wrong, has this ever happened to anyone else?

Does your friend have the same type phone. may be the wifi network have different band? You can install

https://f-droid.org/repository/browse/?f...

https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...

Do not worry it is open-source software (no spyware). In this app, you can scan networks and see what networks, bands, channels, strength are available. Or install it in your friends phone find details.

This might help but at the same time it might not but,

Try going to your wifi and if the wifi you are searching for is not there, there might be a tab that says search for wifi, type in the wifi name you are looking for and it should pop up

~Hope this helps!
