Can't power up unit because pin has been pushed in. Help
can't power up my Acer Aspire 3680 because pin has been pushed in. Power cord has no contact so need to tear unit down to repair.

and here is a disassembly video: click
check page 82 of the service manual - you can see the daughter board with the dc in socket - the board can be removed and fixed/replaced - the daughter board costs around 30$ on ebay (ebay numbers: 250663291316 & 250663268237)
