Command and Spacebar key

Hi,

I recently got a Wireless keyboard from a friend and when i pair it with my mac, whenever i pressed ⌘ + Space it opens a "new" window (if i'm on Firefox)

Whenever i have my Adobe Illustrator on, when i pressed ⌘ + Space for Zoom function, it comes up a new document.

Any ideas? i did a teardown of my keyboard and cleaned the logic board and fixed it back again. Nothing happened.

I tried to swap the Hotkeys under Preferences, i swapped "option" with "⌘" key and when i pressed both "⌘(option) and Space" it works fine.

Opties

Have you tried swapping "option" back to "⌘" and trying it out again? However, it may be the programs and not the keyboard.
