Got it fixed, but how can I get it to work?

So I dropped my phone in the toliet, about a month ago, the screen was replaced because it was cracked before and the new one was slightly out of the frame but perfectly working. But anyways, once it fell in I quickly grabbed it and dried it off. I was at school so I couldn't put it in rice but it seemed fine than about a minuet later it wouldn't turn on, or respond (no even DFU mode ) just a red dot by the frot camera area. I then (stupidly) took the screen off completely and dried off the inside (I'm sure scratching the back of the screen and the part below it (the LCD panel and digitizer I assume). I bought a new screen display and a new battery and cleaned the connectors and logic board with 91% isopropyl alcohol and put it all back together. The home button seems a bit lose because it won't firmly click but when I plug in the phone every few seconds or so the screen lights up but just all black with one vertical line down the screen. I don't care if it works as much as I want the photos an such off it. Any suggestions?

jmtalhelm "with one vertical line down the screen" double check your connectors. It sounds like the cables are either not properly seated, your connector has missing, broken, or corroded pins. Post some images of your connectors with your question so we can see what you see.
