Part purchase and replacement of LED/IR receiver assembly

I'm looking to find where I can purchase this assembly for the ATV1. It sits at the front of the box exposed through the chassis to show the status of power and interaction of the remote writh the IR receiver.

I'm also trying to understand how to remove and replace the assembly.
