Home button doesn't work although Touch ID works fine

The home button for my iphone 5s doesn't click, although the Touch ID works fine so I guess the button is not completely damaged. Can i fix this problem or do I have to replace the entire home button system?

The whole button will need changed but you will lose Touch ID with a replacement home button
