No touch after two new screens?

Hi there,

I have an ipad mini, brought from a lady who told me the touch was no longer working, figured it was just the screen which I replaced but still no touch, is there anything people would recommend I check or replace? Internally everything looks ok but there is obviously something I'm missing.
