Please help me, just before xmas there was a message on laptop to turn laptop of now or in two days time, i clicked the second option, god knows why i did it, and ever since then my laptop will not turn on, what can i do, please help

Sorry to hear you are having problems with your laptop. It sounds like you downloaded an update and now the laptop will not boot?
Does the laptop turn on at all? Does the power light turn on when you press the power button?
If it does, does the laptop make it to the BIOS screen (with the ASUS logo)?
It would be helpful if you posted the serial number off of the bottom.
