won't charge above 2%, replaced battery,dock connector.

ipad 4 won't charge above 2%, tried different cords,chargers, replacing the dock,battery,restoring in dfu,recovery mode,nothing.

Thanks John, i will try the screw, it did seem to be not tightening all the way. Do you know what the voltage should be on the logic board contacts that would be charging the battery? When i checked, it was around 1 volt and fluctuating.

Okay try the following.

Make sure the logic board is screwed down correctly especially the screw above the iPad battery. If this does not fix the problem then try another battery (yes batteries new are very common to be faulty). Check your charger and try different chargers (which I am sure you have)

Now if this does not fix the problem I would assume that it is the PMIC (Power Management IC) very common for this to go on ipads and the only solution is soldering so you will need to find a specialist for this you can do it.
