Broken a Hook on Nexus 7 2012

Hi,

I've a big problem while i was looking on my nexus 7 I've broke the golden hook on the picture.

I'd like to send my nexus on assistance because it doesn't recharge but i'm worried that they would ask me the reimbursement.

Is that a vital piece? Please help me.

If I'm not mistaken I believe that is the WiFi antenna part that touches the corresponding gold contacts on the back of the Nexus 7 case in order to get a good WiFi signal.
