Why my Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 cannot connect to computer?

I think the problem is at the USB receiver of the tablet. The tablet can be charged, but it is after many plugging and unplugging the USB cable. When connecting to the computer, comes out notification like 'Your USB device have malfunction' . I want to know that, can the USB receiver of the USB receiver be replaced. What the tool and parts that i need to make it happen.
