I just changed out a back housing on a Verizon iPhone 5 with a transparent one. Everything seems to work except the cell signal. Even the wifi works. Now that may be obvious to some people because after all the entire thing is now plastic where as before I'm pretty certain that the housing was part of the antenna. Does anyone know of a solution?

I know the frame helps signal so in theory a plastic one would give nothing
I would put it back in old frame just to see if your signal in that

Changing it back fixed it. I never did find a solution to make the clear back work.
