Will WD blue 1TB hard drive work? Model: WDBH2D0010HNC-NRSN

The hitachi 320 GB hard drive that came installed in our computer was damaged and needs to be replaced. Will this WD blue 1TB hard drive work? Any other considerations? I watched the replacement tutorial.

Your system has a HD SATA port that is SATA II (3.0 Gb/s) the WD drive you are thinking on using has a SATA III (6.0 Gb/s) interface speed. You'll need to get a different drive.

Here's an older WD drive that will work: Western Digital WD1003FBYX RE4 1TB 7200RPM 64MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5
