I have a iphone 4s that the ear speaker keeps going bad,starts to crackel and then you can barley hear. replace it and its good for awhile. I have to replace it about every six weeks and i am on my 4th one. I thought i had goten some bad ones but i purchased some from 2 different places. Is the phone going bad.

It's possible there is damage to the logic board. Try inspecting the board for missing components. This is difficult to do thoroughly without a microscope, but give it a shot.
