Replaced digitizer Not working when set in place

I had two Ipad minis with broken screens. Bought replacement parts and changed the first with good result. The second one caused me problems: the replacement seemed ok, before gluing I turned it on and everything was all Right. I removed the tape-parts covering the glue and it all fitted well together. But after power on the screen went crazy as if I touched the screen again and again. I thought it would be a faulty digitizer so I replaced it with the third one. Exactly same result. I can have the digitizer/screen laying on the ipad about half an inch above and it will work perfectly - but the moment I place it directly on the Ipad the screen starts to touch randomly on the screen. Would this be two faulty digitizers or what do you think?

I am having the SAME problem! Except, even after I transfered all the tape from the old screen to the new one. In all the same places. It's still giving me fits once placed. Everything works perfectly until I seat the screen down. Then the home button just clicks itself over and over and over again until I pull up the screen. And when I seat the screen, the sleep button at the top doesn't work either. I assume it can't respond because the home button just keeps hitting itself. What can I do?

you need a new digitizer---this one has a defect in the soldering at the home button flex.
