Hello,
There couple be many reasons for this happening, did your battery die during the update? Or are you rooted? Although there are many reasons it could happen there is one solution that should work. Enter download mode if possible but holding power down and the home button at the same time during boot up! Download the stock firmware from sammobile.com and flash it through Odin. If you are not familiar with odin leave a comment and I can help you further! Hope this helps!

im not famliar with Odin how to do it?
I am not familiar with Odin but I have the same problem. My phone shut off by itself. It won't go past the ATT sign. We did a restart but still nothing. how do i do this with Odin.
Same done update now Samsung mega GT-19205 just stops on Samsung screen can you help please as need call logs so I can't factory reset
I have the same phone with the same problem. I was told that could be a battery problem , so I got a battery for replacement. but still does work. any suggestion? Many thanks,

did the new android update now my phone froze on galaxy mega startup screen i dont think i have any battery issues or my phone died because i did the update and took a nap[ but my phone was on the charger and then when i wokeup it was stuck on that screen and didnt move any further

Same here, put a new battery but still shuts off, I reset the phone to factory but still shuts off, I leave it on a charger it stays on…..weird. is there anyone out there that can help us all?
