My laptop fell and landed on to the DC jack whilst it was connected, I now can not charge my battery or use the laptop whilst connected , how can I fix this problem??

tony, you will have to disassemble your laptop and check the DC jack. It is possible that the solder connections having broken off, which could be fixed by resoldering. It is also possible the the jack broke of the PCB which will require a more extensive repair. All this will depend on what you find.
