2 pram battery housing broken, computer does not start, power lights up
is there a login board or pmu reset button on a iMAC 2111
The PRAM batter holder is broken at the bottom edge and will not hold in a 2032 battery without falling out.
Is there a fix for the holder?
I have a possible lame solution but I want it fixed right.
The bottom edge of the holder broke out when installing a new battery.
I have done this for years and I know .
what I am doing The plastic was weak and the holder appears to be an Apple inferior product I will eventually post pictures of this poor battery holder that apple created

Super thin plastic must have become brittle with age. I cut enough of the clear plastic from the formed retail package for the replacement battery and carefully superglued in place to the original black housing. This made a pouch of reinforcement for the pos part.
