Headphone jack not working after using speakers

I connected speakers (Microlab FC-330) to MacBook Pro. No idea why, but only the left speaker worked, so I tried some other RCA cables, but still only one external speaker worked. Next step was headphones, but all I could hear was distortion.

Cleaned the headphone jack, but the sound is still distorted.

Did I destroy my soundcard?
