Step 1

Download and install the latest version of iTunes if you do not have it installed on your computer. Launch iTunes after it is installed and updated.

Step 2

Plug your iPhone into your computer using the USB cable and click "OK" on the alert window that informs you iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode.

Step 3

Click on the name of your iPhone in iTunes and click the Summary tab.

Step 4

Click "Restore iPhone" and then "Restore" on the alert window warning you that all your data will be erased.

Step 5

Click "OK" when the restore process is complete. Monitor the progress of the restore by watching the progress bar. The restore may take some time, which is mostly due to downloading the iPhone software image. The image is a large file and the download time depends on your Internet connection speed.

Step 6

Restore your iPhone data from a backup file in the "Restore from this backup" drop-down list and click "Continue." Optionally, you can set up your iPhone as a new iPhone and backup from an iCloud backup.

I would try recboot, it's great at getting stuff out of recovery mode.

Connect iPhone -- hear connect beep.

Hold down power and home until you hear the disconnect beep.

Let go of power but keep holding home until you hear a connect beep again.

At this point, the screen stays black, Windows detects unknown USB device and starts installing a driver, and once the driver installs, iTunes should report an iPhone stuck in recovery mode.

If that doesn't work -- have you tried a new cable by using iPhone Data Recovery?

And if that doesn't work, then it's probably time for a visit to Apple.

It's not uncommon to see that iPhone stuck in recovery mode. To get your iPhone out of recovery mode, follow these steps:

1. Hold down the home and power button for about 15 seconds, this shuts off the iPhone.

2. Press the power button to boot the iPhone."

Most likely broken chips on board!

When phones off plug in lighting cable to power on then quickly disconnect as it powers on you should now be able to start up
