Removing home button on iPad mini retina 120 gig

I have a iPad mini 120 gig retina. The glass was broken and needed replaced. I ordered new display. I removed the screen like I should but the home button came apart can I order a new one or try to fix the current one? I know this is new ground but any help would be great

when you say the home button came apart do you mean the plastic button with the rubber surround or do you mean the actual ribbon that runs across the bottom of the screen? there is a BIG difference between the two.

Hi, the glass at the bottom was really bad and when roving the button and the brace under it along with the wireing came apart. Now what? I wish I could post a photo.
