Acer Aspire 5735Z screen is very dim (écran noir). Is it the inverter?

Hi, The screen of my Acer 5735Z went black. I can still see it when lit up at the right angle; Is it the back light (since there is something on the screen) or the inverter ?

Does anyone knows how to fix that ?

L'écran de mon ACEr est noir, mais on distingue quand même vaguement. Est-ce le rétro éclairage ou l'inverter ? J'ai mis un écran HP qui me permet de travailler, mais ce n'est plus un portable !

LeFlour, check all the cables first make sure they are properly plugged in. If they are, then replace your inverter. It is possible that this is your error. Of course, if it still won't work, your CCFL in your LCD screen have failed and you would have to rep;lace the display. I'd start with the inverter since it is far less expensive. Hope this helps good luck.
