My iPod's backlight is out how do I get it fixed?
My iPods backlight is out i bought it today and i new it was but i was wantin to no how much it would be?

My i pod nano will work fine, but the screen is out and i can't see anything. it turns white when i hold it on the goes blank. although it still works. is there antthing i can do to fix it

@Daniel, the backlight is a tiny LED mounted behind the screen. You can remove it but since there is no-one currently selling replacements, wouldn't do you much good.
@Scott, There are a lot of video's out there showing you how to replace the screen. Youtube has a lot of really good ones. Usually, if your screen only shows white, there is a problem with the motherboard, but since you can still play music on it, it's possible replacing the screen will work for you. There are a lot of tiny parts that must be removed before you get to the screen. Be careful to keep track of where they came from and where you put them while you work.
