While prying the screen off on my iPhone 5, the screen came out fast and it over extended, ripping the wires attached to the motherboard from the screen. Can I buy just those wires? Or am I going to have to replace my whole LCD? I just wanted to replace my battery and now I'm in this frustration

You need a whole new LCD/digitizer combo. Just check you didn't damage the motherboard connector too..
