Power LED doesn't work after display change

I changed the display on a HTC ONE SV. After doing it the LED that lights up when you connect the phone to a power supply for instance won't turn on. Well, to be specific, it does turn on (i checked it) but you don't see anything on the front. I have no clue what the issue is. There's no dirt. The new display is original HTC, it came with the frame. It looks exactly like the old display. There's this white film where the LED sits, just like on the old display. Please, could anyone help me out?
