Oil filter wrench vs. Oil filter cap wrench

I've been wondering what type of wrench to get before starting this project using your instructions. It looks like a pretty tight space to get the oil filter out on the 2.0 Jetta. In one of your photos of the oil filter wrench I see you have an oil filter cap wrench in the background. Would that work better than the wrench that you used? Or, does the cap wrench type needed depend on the brand of filter I buy?

Thanks!

Carl Peterson, the cap wrench will be easier to use is tight spaces since you only need to get to the bottom of the filter. If you use a filter wrench, you will have to have enough room on the sides to move the wrench. The size of the cap wrench is depending on the filter size, not the brand. Any good auto parts store can help you with the proper size.
