If I brought online a samsung galaxy s4 lcd replacement screen will it fit both gt-i9500 and gt-i9505, or would I have to purchase the one that's the same model as my phone?

The difference between Samsung Galaxy S4 i9500 and i9505 LCD Screen digitizer assembly is the front frame / front housing.The LCD Display and Digitizer are compatible,but i9500 front frame can not fit i9505.
If you bought a lcd screen without the frame,you should transfer the frame to the LCD.
If you got the screen with the frame already installed,then you just need check the model of the screen,there is a number on the back of the frame.It shows "i9500" or "i9505.That is easy to recognize.Make sure the model of the screen is the same with your phone!
Here is the picture of the Samsung Galaxy S4 i9505 LCD Screen Replacement,can you see the number of "i9505"?You can also see the number on i9500 frame if you bought a i9500 screen.

You'd better order the same model in case it won't fit your phone. If what you've ordered is LCD screen and digitizer with front housing, then you may have to change it, because the front housing of one model is not compatible with other models. If the item you've ordered is without housing, you could transfer the front housing to the newly bought LCD screen and digitizer.

Just open it up then you will know what screen you need and let me know too my mate has smashed his SHV E300S Galaxy S4 Screen need to order a replacement ill know tomorrow when i pop down his if i9500 or i9505 is needed.............

my samsung s4 i9505 motherboard is compatible to front housing to i9505 when i put it something cant lock it even i screwed ?
or can i change back in i9505 front frame but in back frame and battery cover is compatible to i9500 ?
