Can anyone advise how to reconnect the antenna?

I replaced the battery and now have "no signal" and cannot see how to reconnect the antenna?

Is it under location 7 - the "do not remove" paper?

I had the same problem after installing a larger battery.

Re-installed the previous battery and took it back to the Apple store. They advised it was a modem problem and replaced the iPhone.

Be sure to replace the "do not remove" paper and don't leave any trace of opening the iPhone.

Also, when replacing the battery, ensure number 7 is secure and ensure the two metal tips sticking up (near number 7) are touching the side casing.

Be very careful when removing the board and putting it back.

I was extremely careful when doing the battery replacement but didn't view those two tips when removing the board. Before removing, check to see where the two tips are touching.

Anyone with further experience?

I have the same problem with my 3GS after replacement of the battery, now just goes from Full service to then sometimes NO Service to Searching for service..... I have checked all connectors and even traced with a Multi-meter the contacts between the GSM/ UTMS antenna and everything is fine. Anyone know what the problem could be? There are NO cracks or missing components e.g. RF inductors or other parts missing. Anyone have an idea?

I have this same problem. I'm not sure where those two gold points are supposed to touch. They came out when I pried on up on the bezel too far. Can anyone help?
