Why will my 3ds not recognize a game in the game slot?
I can put any game into the slot, but the console says that there is nothing in the game slot.

The main fail on nintendo DSs is in my opinion connectors. They are much sensitive to oxydation. you can try replacing the motherboard following this guide.

Matt, before you replace anything, check your ports. Make sure that all the contacts line up, that you have no debris or corrosion build up. Clean it with some alcohol and a few puffs of compressed air.
