Battery Charger to hel test if it's a bad battery or a bad power jack

I do computer repair. I was wanting to know if they have a device that can charge any laptop battery externally. In my troubleshooting I want to make sure I'm not dealing with a bad power jack that's not charging the battery or not charging it right. I want an external device to determine if I'm just dealing with a bad battery that needs to be replaced.

Good question! Sorry no.

The problem here is each different LiOn battery requires a different charge cycle & connection just within the one manufactures collection of systems it sells (Apple alone is around 20 different batteries).

1 Opmerking:

The best way is to use a Ohm meter to check the connectivity, and a Volt meter to check the voltages of the circuit pathway.
