twice Beep Problem when starting my laptop + Blank screen

Please Help me

Ok I've had this laptop (lenovo sl400) , I have no idea what happened, but when I turn it on all the lights turn on but after around 5 seconds it starts to beep 2 times really loud. Also the screen is completely black nothing pops up. The black screen goes on forever. But If anybody has had this problem and fixed it or knows how to fix it i will be extremly grateful if you could help me with this problembecaise I hav no idea what to do. Thanks.

Opties

santosh, two short beeps and a blank screen usually point to a bad System board or bad DIMM. Remove your memory sticks and reseat those. If you have more than one, remove any more than one, then retry with just one stick.

i have this same issue, pulled the battery, held power. pulled both sodimms, put one in, both beeps, took it out, put the other in, two beeps again, tried the same thing in the other slot, no beeps, no start up, just a black screen.
