fried IC on logic board while replacing hard drive

Hi!

Long story short, I didn't notice one of the display conductive cushions fell between display and the logic board when i was assembling the iMac, so when i turned it on it fried one of the IC's on it. It's working, but has 8 bit or so color range on the internal display. I can replace the IC, but it fried so bad, i can't see the marking on it.

My question is: can anybody tell me that IC label, or what that IC actually is? Photos included.

Thanks in advance!

What are the last three of your serial number? That will identify your computer better and allow us to find the right motherboard schematic. If you have part number of your motherboard, that would even be better.

Gekozen oplossing

Andy, the IC U9130 is the TI video switch TS3V340. It is a 4-bit 1-of-2 multiplexer/demultiplexer with a single switch-enable (EN)\ input. The datasheet is available right here. Hope this helps, good luck.
