What do I use to "reglue" my wifi antenna?

A while back, I broke my IPod 4g screen, so recently I bought a new screen and replaced it. Worked great. However, in the process, I unattached and unplugged my Wifi antenna...It was held down with some sort of..adhesive substance. I plugged the antenna back in but now my Wifi goes in and out. If I hold it down with tweezers, my internet connection is fine, but once I let go, I slowly start to loose connection. I figure that I need some sort of glue to keep it held down, but I can't find exactly what I should use... Anyone know? Thanks!

I would use some very very thin electrical tape, or you could find an equivalent to it. Basically the reason your wifi goes in and out is that the iPod uses the outer metal case to strengthen the antenna, hence when you press it against the case it works fine. All you need to do is find something that is NOT conductive, and is small and adhesive enough to keep it secured.

Would liquid electrical tape work? I was looking at this: http://www.amazon.com/Star-Brite-1-Ounce...

Keila Black, that stuff might just work. It does fit all the criteria needed, just try not to make a mess with it :-)

lol. I imagine myself making more of a mess with physical tape..like accidentally ripping the WiFi antenna cause I taped it down wrong or something. XD but anyways, thanks for the help!

Use Double Sided Tape it will work just fine. Put it between the antenna and the white plastic, not between the antenna and the front panel.

Use the transparent tape.

Do not use the black thick tape, or you will be not able to close the front panel.

Don't bother gluing it or taping it. The way the screen fits there is almost zero "wiggle" room for extra adhesives or tapes. You are risking having the screen sit unevenly and getting possible white pressure points on the screen and worst case scenario you could damage the LCD. Just sit it in the right place and install the screen. I have never had any issues doing it this way, just make sure the antenna is completely connected. You don't want to have to re-open it to fix.
