Touch screen partially not responding after replacement.

I'm having the same issue as well I've changed tons of screens on iPhone 4 and this is the first time it's happen to me. only difference is only part of the touch screen works and one little section of the touch doesn't work... is there a fix for this? please help!

Raechel Mclain, it is my experience that when part of the touch screen is unresponsive, it has failed. Most likely reason for that is a fracture in the digitizer circuit. This has become all to common with replacements. I would contact the vendor and either request a replacement or get my money back. Of course, you can also try an reseat the cables etc. but since it is only a certain area, I suggest a replacement. Hope this helps, good luck.

Getting the ribbon cable pinched under the glass during installation might cut one of the conductors in the ribbon cable. Be sure to carefully route the ribbon cables during installation.
