Hi, the Q4260 (NDS9407) has burned. I changed it, but it burned again. So, I identified a short on the circuit connected to the drain of Q4260. I don't find the other bad component, because I need the eletrical diagram to do this.
Do you have the esquematic diagram of mainboard?

Fabiano, this is where it gets a bit complicated. I do have two schematics that go with the A1297, but are different by year. I posted the images of the motherboard from both and identified the location of the Mosfet. I also attached the part pertaining to the Mosfet. Hope this helps, good luck.

Replace Q4260 and this two resistors R6911 and R6912 will be great if you can post actual pics of your board too for future help.
i have 820-2610-A everytime i plug battery it burns mosfet by lcd /fan area and a capacitor right next to it.....
any answers to whats burning it everytime i replace them?
apparently there is no R6911 or R6912 on the schematics pdf....

what are the last three digits of your serial number? That way we could identify your motherboard a bit better.

Same board 820-2610A same issue...
Replaced all the surrounding components, same result. The mosfet doesn't apparently have any side shorted to ground but when I give power to the board that component burns out. Only removing the sensing resistor allowed me to sit the component and get some measurements...
I get 8.4v on pins 123 3.4v on pin 4 and 8.4v on pin 5678.
Whanever i sit back R7790 the mosfet say bye bye...
