MacBook only starts with certain cable disconnected

I disconnected my subwoofer yesterday, i then had some hard time reconnecting the camera cable (http://guide-images.ifixit.net/igi/UKx5L...). After re-connecting, my macbook wouldn't start. I tried to start it up with the camera cable disconnected, and now it starts. I can't use wifi or bluetooth but it is a start. Now i need to know what's broken specifically and how to fix it, in other words is the cable broken or the slot where it fits in....

Yes - or you may have shorted the logic board. Several possibilities and only close examination (magnifying glass) might show cuts, burns, or tears to the cable. connector, or, on the logic board.

How badly do you need the camera? As a work around you might be able to use USB Bluetooth and Wireless dongles as that solution would be easier than the advanced DIY of replacing the logic board (if the connector is damaged the only option since soldering of logic boards is super advanced DIYand requires special tools, solder and lots & lots of practice).

I ordered a new camera/bluetooth/wifi cable (which connects airport and isight to the logic board). I'm currently using the macbook with the cable disconnected from the logic board. If my macbook starts with the new cable connected then i know that the cable was broken, if the macbook still does not start then the socket on the logic board is broken and then i should use a work around indeed because i can't solder my own logic board and i don't want to pay top price to get it fixed.
