Nah ! That is not my experience. I recently had my hard disk started tk have problems. I had installed ssd inside the laptop and hdd had to be used inside caddy replacing the disk drive.
I started to face problems with my system unable to locate the drive or drive D error.
In my 7 years I had never faced these problems and my hdd have always ran smoothly as new. . My engineer told me that replacing hdd from it's original space does create Problems.
So now my hard disk may have been Corrupted or undetected.
So that shopkeeper defijitely has a point.
