I have the same problem on a KD-70X8500B
This model has a seprate tuner board.
I removed the tuner board and powered on still get same problem.
Can sony run without the tuner board if there seprate from the main board ?
I wish there was a list of things to check if you get the 9 blinks? It says what the possible issues could be, power board?
Anyone know the answers above ?
