I have a Kenmore Elite HE4t that has sporadic F06 error. I've had this for years. Some days it works, some days it doesn't. One thing I noticed was that it worked better in the winter times, but not so well in the Summer. Today, it didn't work at all. It was raining today (May, late Spring). And the humidity was at 75%. Like with any electrical components, I wondered if humidity was a factor. So I pulled out my big fan and put it in front of the washer, hoping that perhaps that would help circulate some air, and lower the humidity of the laundry room. After a few minutes, I tried it again, and lo and behold, it worked!!!!
Will this work for everyone? Who knows? Was it a coincidence? Not sure! But give it a try; it costs nothing to try it out.
