The latest fix is this: Do factory reset. After that check for updates in the settings and then download those. I did it twice to make sure it took and that fixed it for me. The factory reset is required so that the latest updates become available. Good luck.
-UPDATE: A day later and it's flickering again. Next I tried the Echo Show power supply suggestion from a brand new Echo Show 5 and it did NOT fix the issue. The only other 'fix' I will try is asking Alexa to turn off the display each night when I go to bed and then turn it on in the morning. If that doesn't work then it seems that there is no fix.
