Hello! By replacing the HDD, do you mean taking the broken one out and replacing it with a new one? If so, check to make sure that your computer’s bios recognizes the HDD by booting into your computers bios and checking if it is listed under the device specifications or drive list. If it is, you will need to reinstall your operating system to the HDD to use your computer again. If it does not show up, you may have a faulty HDD.
