If you’re not getting any response, it could be many different problems. First check for lint/dust/dirt stuck in the charging port that prevents the charging cable from making a good connection. Cleaning this out will fix your issue in many cases…
If you plan to replace the [product|IF356-032-2|battery], I recommend getting a replacement [product|IF356-038-2|charging port/USB board] as well. That way you can diagnose all power issues at once.
If you are not experienced with opening phones, it is a good idea to get a [product|IF356-024-5|replacement screen] as well in case it is damaged during disassembly (return it if you don’t use it!)
