I had the same problem and I solve it by changing the power supply.

You can find one on AliExpress for 45 USD plus shipping.

When I did the diagnostic test (startup holding letter D on keyboard) everything showed fine. But I realized the computer never shutdown during the test because the screen is not using as much power from the video card (So less demand on power supply) with these few colors.
