As you change parts out and interchange other part you may need to secure them using a third party adhesive (use tape, not glue), and other components will need to be upgraded or changed to fit the case too. If you have two ipods it would be better just to buy the needed parts and install. Now if your goal is to have a bit of fun, give it a try and see if it loads up and works. The worst thing that can happen is you either bugger up a part and need to replace it (for a whole 13 bucks), or it just doesn’t work, and you will have learnt something new.
