I purchased a refurbished Kindle Fire HD 6 from Woot.com. They delivered a Kindle Fire HD 6 "Kids Edition" to me. I prefer a "normal" Fire HD 6. Woot does not have any in stock. They refunded the cost and said I can keep the device.

Is it possible to "convert" the Kids Edition for use as a regular Kindle Fire HD 6?
