Hi Doug,

I'm currently experiencing proximity sensor issues as well, so I can't help you there.

However, with the earpiece, I'd check to make sure the contacts are touching, and you didn't rip the little sticky film with the hole in it when you reassembled the phone. I'm not an expert, but judging from what I saw when I fixed my screen, that's where I'd look first.
