Run through test.
 
* How long have you had the phone?
* Have you replaced the battery at any given point, or does the phone have a history of replacement?
* If you're able to connect it to a computer back up the device so you have your data saved.
* With the device disconnected, can you perform a soft reset to see if the apple logo will display. This is done by holding the power button + home button together until the logo appears.

*If Restoring doesn't work, inspect the battery. I strongly encourage you have a technician do this in the event something happens to the battery, for safety reasons. Battery might be damaged and may need replacement
