My charger is broken

A minor dent has appeared on the end of my ds charger (the part you plug into the ds itself) on the side with the small square. I have tried forcing it back into black with screwdrivers, needles and scissors but it will not go back into place. Can anyone help me because I cannot plug it into my sd to play. Please help!
