iPhone XS: Waardoor is mijn scherm defect?

Vervolgens alles weer in elkaar gezet.

iPhone XS: iPhone XS automatically shuts down once plugged to charger

Recently I replaced my iPhone Xs battery, my phone was working fine in starting for at least one week, then problem comes, here is weird problem, when i plugged to charger it start charging like normal, once screen goes dim & phone goes to auto lock, within one minute it auto shutdown & won’t charge, even if i press power button, it won’t power on, unplugged and plugged again, no effect, normally with plugged to charger iphone power turn on , but this won’t happen in my case, now if i unplugged to charger for 5 seconds, phone auto turn on & i even no need to press power button, weird thing is if i plugged to charger and let phone screen keep on, it charging normal like normal, phone battery work fine & it never goes auto off phone while using phone, not sure where to start find problem, as i already destroy my old original battery while trying to change original protection board of battery, i broke original battery flex cable, so i don’t have any other battery which i can try to check if that is battery faulty or phone motherboard it self or it might be charging board, phone can connect to pc with no issue and as i said it charging battery with no problem if phone screen is on so what i am doing is make auto lock never & make brightness to zero, so let it charge my phone, once it 100% i make it back to auto lock & increases brightness to normal, but this is not the solution, so i am wondering if anybody know what is all that, have anyone else faced similar problem?

any help shall be highly appreciated,

iPhone XS: Face ID not working on a iPhone XS and tells move lower/move higher.

Hello. I try to repair iPhone XS (small) after sea water damage. After cleaning and replacing a display iPhone functioning perfectly, but Face ID still not working. iPhone not said nothing when have been started like "FaceID not working on this phone" etc.

But when I try to set up new face ID my iPhone tells me "move little lower", then "move little higher", also make blur and so infinitely. Sometimes iPhone says that it can't set up new FaceID. The fact is that I damaged ambien light sensor when were transfering FaceID module to a new display cause it was very damaged by sea salt. I think that it influence to FaceID working. And now I want to buy "iPhone XS 5.8 Ear Speaker Proximity Ambient Light Sensor Flex Cable w/ Brackets". But I'm not sure that Face ID will work after replacing it. I'm afraid that i need to buy iPhone XS Facing camera module too. (frontal camera, dot projector and infared camera)

I dont know how to know it works or no, so i tell you all symptoms that I observe. And I dont know, what if I change ambient light sensor and speaker my phone may tells me that FaceID cannot be installed cause it not paired with motherboard, frontal camera or other. I dont understand could I replace only ambient light sensor module if all rest modules are working.

So, I describe all symptoms:

- FaceID fails to detect a face during the setup process. Keeps sending the two messages: move iPhone a little lower/higher and makes blur sometimes

- Animoji works fine.

- Frontal camera works perfectly, but portrait mode not functioning.

- Both of back cameras works fine and portrait mode works too.

- I dont see anything lights through the camera of my other iPhone for check Flood illuminator works or not. I dont see a light of dot projector, but i thenk it cause it should turn off after lights of flood illuminator and proximity sensor.

- When picking up the phone it turn on the display

- I have tried of types of reset.

So, i'm waiting for your respond and I need help so much. Cause I need to know - I need to buy only "ambient light sensor" module or I need to buy it with a "frontal camera" module.

Could I get an issue than FaceID is unavaivable for my phone if I replace only ambient light sensor or no? Or maybe ambient light sensor nothing to do with? Maybe it all cause I move all Face ID and Speaker modules to a new display? Waiting for your help.

iPhone XS: Phone keeps turning off and won't turn on after screen replacement

I recently changed the screen on my iPhone with a 3rd party LCD screen as my old factory screen was severely cracked and displayed green all over. After I changed my screen with great care, I started encountering issues the same day where my phone would randomly turn off within minutes (and sometimes instantly) and wouldn’t turn on unless I plugged it in to charge, even though my battery was fully charged (for context, I replaced + calibrated my battery a week prior while using the original screen and encountered no problems).

I’ve noticed that sometimes, tapping it or setting it down will cause it to turn off. It will eventually turn itself off randomly, even if held in my hand or resting on a table, with the frequency increasing the more I turn it on and it dying until I leave it to rest. I double-checked all connections during the repair and tested the phone before reassembling to ensure everything works, with no issues. I had the battery unplugged while connecting the screen to ensure no discharge or damage. My first thought was the battery, but the battery is brand new and did not pose any symptoms or problems prior to me replacing the screen.

Why is this happening? I’ve heard some theories about components making direct contact with other parts of the phone’s internals which could cause problems. The screen I bought, while 3rd party and LCD, is from a reputable manufacturer (as far as 3rd party parts go), was bought brand new, and from a trustworthy seller. The screen is fully functional, so I’m less inclined to believe the screen is defective.

iPhone XS: Stuck on 0% remaining and bootlooping every 3 minutes - iPhone XS

So basically, I got a replacement aftermarket battery for my iPhone XS. I plugged it in correctly to my iPhone and when powered on and plugged in, it says "0% remaining" and doesn't charge and it proceeds to go into a bootloop/restart every 3 minutes or so (the UI is also glitchy). To clarify and rule out the possibility of it being a board issue, I reconnected my old iPhone battery (stock OEM original from apple) and it worked just fine, charged, showed the indicators and worked correctly. Can anyone please give me insight as to why this aftermarket battery isn't working?

Regards folks!

Everything worked fine for about the first 12 hours then suddenly it started experiencing pretty bad ghost touch about once every 10 minutes.
iPhone XS: iPhone XS lags and reboots - After water damage repair

Hi i’ve got an iPhone XS that got water damaged in the top killing the light sensor. i’ve managed to make run the phone by disconnecting the flex cable of the earpiece from the motherboard. However vibrations weren’t working and the phone was laggy sometimes freezing on apps launching and multitasking and it also had an annoying volume problem ( the volume rose to max on its own ). However i’ve bought a new charging port flex and installed it yesterday. now the phone has audio and vibrations working and no more audio bug, but somehow lags and freezes crashing. i’ve figured out that camera is not working good , especially the telephoto camera which could not launch. i’ve disconnected all the cameras ( front 3 module flexes and the 2 rear flexes ) and now it seems to work very very fast , like brand new without freezing at all. the point is that it sometimes reboots randomly ( after a crash ) and i’ve noticed it does not charge ( I plug the charging cable and it charges but after rebooting it does not charge at all ) , i’ve left it yesterday charging and this morning I found it charged zero.

What could be the problem for this?? Damaged battery??? i’ve noticed that the battery is not very nice but it is still fine.

Ill link two links of a video where all the flexes are connected and it lags and another where I disconnect the camera and it runs smooth

iPhone XS: Dropped phone now gps wifi cellular reception bad

Yesterday my iPhone XS dropped on the street. It was in a case and had a glass screen protector that took a hit. The phone it self does not have any visible damage.

Since then the GPS, WIFI and cellular reception is/feels bad. It works but it not as good as before. Most notable was the GPS: While driving it was always severeal meters behind or the blue dot was placed next to the street in the field. With wifi and cellullar it is a little bit harder to graps because how looks at the reception when everything works :) but I pretty sure I had full wifi connection in the bathroom that is 3 meters from the wifi router.

I did not open it or anything. I did restart it and despite the bad reception everything seems to be working fine.

So I have two questions:

Is there a way to check the reception with an app or something? I know that Apple can do hardware analysis in the store so I could go there and try to get them to check it for me.

Does someone already have a idea what is broken and how it could be fixed?

Hello. Recently i updated to the newest ios 16.5.1 on my iphone xs. During the update it seemed a bit weird as the screen remained black for a while and did not reboot per the norm. after waiting several minutes thinking maybe it is just taking longer? i finally went to restart it myself and found that it was actually already on. The screen just wouldnt show up. Ever since this, I can force restart and the apple logo will appear as it normally does during startup and then nothing. It just goes black and stays black. The screen itself is working (even touch works since i can hold power and swipe right and it will turn the phone off).

I have tried force restarting, i have tried a full restore through itunes and still nothing.
